Claremorris Swimming Club is looking for a head coach from 1 November 2011.
Our mission and goal is to promote competitive swimming in an inclusive atmosphere that encourages self-motivation, teamwork, achievement and responsibility.
The post involves taking responsibility for and directing competitive swimming programs for the 3 youth swimming squads in the club(approx 60 swimmers ranging in age from 6-17.The head coach is responsible for the delivery of the programs to each of the squads.The 3 squads are divided according to skill, with the Group 3 consisting of swimmers who are just about to enter competitive swimming, Group 2 who are competing at graded galas and Group 1 who are aiming to qualify for provincial and national level galas and beyond. The position also involves attendance at Galas.
Training takes place at Claremorris Leisure Centre.
The coach must work well with parents, swimmers of all ages,and coaches.The salary will be at a competitive wage based on experience.
This is a unique opportunity for the right person to direct a vibrant and talented group of swimmers.
