Membership Terms and Conditions
- Membership of the Claremorris Leisure Centre (CLC) will entitle the member to use of all the facilities of the Centre.
- Use of the facilities of the CLC and use of the premises is strictly subject to the Rules and Regulations of the CLC in affect at any time.
- Payment of the membership fee will entitle the member to membership of the CLC for a twelve or six month period and on the expiration of this period, the member must renew membership.
- In the event that membership is not renewed within the month of its expiry, it is deemed to have expired and it will be necessary for the member to reapply for membership. Re-entry fees will apply.
- The membership fee must be paid in full before use of the CLC commences.
- Membership may be terminated by the Management for violation of any Rules or Regulations of the CLC or for conduct deemed by the Management to be detrimental to the welfare, good order of character of the CLC or its members.
- The Management reserves the right to utilise the CLC facilities for special events, private parties, seminars, tournament or other events.
- Membership of the CLC is not assignable or transferable. Membership deposits and membership fees are not refundable, even in the case of injury, illness or if a member leaves.
- Temporary suspension of membership will not be allowed under any circumstances.
- The member acknowledges that he/she is in good health and not suffering from any illness or disease.
- The CLC Health Status Questionnaire must be completed and signed by all applicants in advance of using the facilities.
- Smoking within the Centre is not allowed.
- The member acknowledges that the CLC will not be responsible for the loss of any personal items or damage to personal property, either on the premises or in the CLC car parking areas.
- The member acknowledges that the CLC accepts no liability whatsoever for any personal injury or damage to personal property sustained by the member while he/she is using the CLC premises, facilities or parking areas.
- CLC will use its best endeavors to ensure that all facilities, apparatus and equipment are maintained in working order but CLC accepts no responsibility to the member for failure or breakdown of any equipment or apparatus however caused.
- In the event of any dispute arising between a member of the CLC and the Management of the CLC, the decision of the Management will be final.
